Introduction to Rounders

This eLearning course, for anyone aged 14+, will provide you with an introduction on how to set up and lead safe rounders sessions. Completed online at your own pace, it includes all the basic skills and information needed to get rounders played in your area. This course is useful for: Community groups, Young Leaders, Teams/Clubs beginning their rounders journeys.

Introduction to Rounders


Each module should take between 10-15 mins (80-120 mins in total). You can complete each module separately or in 1 sitting, it's completely up to you. You will receive 30 days' access (from purchase) to the Rounders eLearning Hub to complete your course.


To pass and earn your certificate you will need to receive 100% on the progress bar. Throughout the modules you will also need to complete 'Knowledge checks'. On completion of the whole course you will be able to download and print off your certificate.

  • Learn how to ensure your sessions are welcoming and safe
  • Understand what makes a good leader
  • Be able to identify the skills required for Rounders
  • Understand the simplified rules of Rounders
  • Be able to set up a Rounders pitch and understand what roles are needed
  • Be comfortable using Rounders terminology
  • To be comfortable adapting your sessions to participant needs
